On February 12, 2021, New York State Council on the Arts awarded BEAT Global with two grants: one for Arts Education and one for Special Arts Services. The New York State Council on the Arts is dedicated to preserving and expanding the rich and diverse cultural resources that are and will become the heritage of New York’s citizens. These generous contributions will allow BEAT to expand our BEAT Rockers program to more youth with disabilities, and to train new teaching artists to work with people with disabilities.
We’re grateful that these vital programs have been made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
